Physics and astronomy involve the study of the physical aspects of all parts of creation, from atoms to galaxies, from meteorites to mammals, from oceans to automobiles. The Calvin College Physics and Astronomy Department is dedicated to providing each student with the broad background necessary to enter a variety of professional fields. This goal is met through the work of dedicated, competent, Christian faculty who are active physicists and astronomers with a keen interest in education.
