(3). F. This course examines the nature, assessment and treatment of language disorders in elementary, middle, and high school children. Students learn about definitional and diagnostic issues for the school-aged population and then learn treatment approaches in detail, with special attention to language and literacy interventions aimed at improving phonological processing and oral and written language comprehension and expression.
