The basic equations of electromagnetism are developed and applied to simple charge and current distributions. Further applications are made to electromagnetic energy and electromagnetic properties of matter. Prerequisite: Physics 235 and Mathematics 261, 271 or 232. Mathematics 231 is also recommended.
