ENGL-266 Feature Journalism
(3). S, alternate years. A course in the art of writing feature stories for magazine and online publications. Students research, write, and edit several substantial articles for different audiences, paying particular attention to matters of strategy and style as called for by those audiences. Topics range from profiles of people to articles about science, history, religion, art, or contemporary events. Although the primary focus of the course is writing, students do explore the possibilities of multimedia journalism. Not offered 2012-2013.
