CAS-311 Child Language Development
An examination of early language development research in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Theories of language acquisition and implications for practice are examined. Particular attention is given to the role of adults in language development and to the relationship between language development and cognitive development. Also listed as Education 311. Prerequisites: An introductory course in psychology or education or permission of the instructor.
