BUS-359   Internship in Business

Internships involve a minimum of ten to fifteen hours of work a week in a professional setting with an approved employer-supervisor in business or nonprofit organizations. Academic work involves readings, seminars/workshops, reflective journals, and a major paper/presentation. Students may take Business 359 two times, but only one will fulfill an elective requirement in a department major. Prerequisites: Three courses in business or economics and permission of the internship coordinator.
