Exploring the Language and Culture of the Netherlands

Calvin Student

Calvin was the first institution of higher learning in the United States to make Dutch part of its curriculum, and for a good reason. Calvin College was founded in 1876 by Dutch Calvinist settlers whose language formed a bridge to their cultural heritage.

But Dutch is not only for those with Dutch blood running through their veins. Studying the Dutch language and culture will open you to a people who have long been making remarkable contributions to both the European community and the greater international scene.
