The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic at Calvin College offers services for adults with speech, language and/or cognitive challenges secondary to a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Therapy services are provided by graduate student clinicians under close professional supervision by a certified speech-language pathologist. Treatment focuses on the development of functional communication skills. Adults will participate in speech-language evaluations to determine their strengths and challenges and to also determine treatment goals. The speech-language evaluation includes hearing screening. If treatment is recommended, individual therapy sessions will be held once a week at the designated time throughout the semester. A commitment to attend all sessions is important for successful treatment.
