DeVos Communication Center
The 58,000 square-foot DeVos Communication Center at Calvin College opened in 2002. This cutting-edge facility is the home for the department of political science, the Paul Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics, the department of communication arts and sciences, and the Calvin workshops in communication.
There is a glass enclosed covered walkway that connects Calvin’s east campus with the west campus.
Political Science Department
The political science department uses two of the three floors of this building. The second floor is where the political science departmental offices are located.
The ground level is public space for six “smart classrooms,” a computer classroom, the DeVos Grab'n'Go Café and an open lobby with lots of flexible seating.
