If you are fascinated by buildings - houses, law offices, churches, airport terminals, concert halls; and by their distinctive shapes and functions, materials and settings - then perhaps architecture is the field for you. Through design, the architect translates the needs and desires of the people he or she serves into a uniquely functional and pleasing structure. In doing so the client is educated and served.
