What is the Lilly Vocation Project?

Do you understand the difference or overlap between vocation and job? Do you wonder what it really means to serve the kingdom of God through your vocation? The Lilly Vocation Project promises to help you answer these questions. The Lilly Vocation Project is a Calvin College initiative designed to help students and faculty think, study, talk, and write about vocation. The Lilly Endowment was established by the Eli Lilly family, founders of the Lilly Pharmaceutical Company.

The Lilly Endowment continues to provide significant funding for these initiatives for students:

• Youth Ministry Academic Program
• Ministry Internships
• Worship Apprentice Program
• Jubilee Fellows
  • Twelve juniors and seniors are preparing for 2008 summer internships designed to help them discern their call to ministry as part of this program.
