Transfer credit
Transfer students are always welcome to join the Calvin student body. We will work to make your transition into the Calvin community as smooth as possible and assist you in your degree completion.
Calvin will grant transfer credit for course-work completed at accredited institutions. To receive credit, the courses must be academic and similar in nature to courses offered at Calvin. You must earn a minimum grade of C for a course to be accepted.
While there is no limit to the amount of transfer credit accepted from four-year institutions, you may only transfer up to 70 semester hours from a community college or two-year institution.
Regardless of credit transferred from other institutions, you must complete your last year in residence and at least four upper-level courses in your major to graduate from Calvin. In addition, you must complete one Interim course for each year in residence.
