Summer Online Courses

 

Continuing this Summer! The following undergraduate online courses are being offered during 2013 summer school.

ASTR 110 - Planets, Stars and Galaxies (4 sem. hrs.)
CAS 140 - Communication & Culture (3 sem. hrs.
CS 108 - Intro to Computer Science (4 sem. hrs.)
ENGL 230 - Understanding Literature (3 sem. hrs.)
HIST 152 - History of the West & World (4 sem. hrs.)
LATN 101 - Elementary Latin I (4 sem. hrs.)
PHIL 153 - Fundamental Questions in Philosopohy (3 sem. hrs.)

Reduced Tuition Rate Applies

Tuition for online courses is $315 per semester hour of credit for summer 2013. This reduced tuition applies only to the undergraduate online courses offered for summer 2013.

Admission and Registration

Calvin Students

  1. Log into the Calvin Portal using your Calvin user and passphrase.
  2. Click on the 'services' dropdown menu then click on 'student academics.'
  3. Click 'schedule of classes'
  4. Select the term that you are enrolling, and the subject of your course.
  5. Under section, enter 'ONLNE'
  6. After you click 'submit' select the online course and you will be registered.

Before the beginning of the semester, you will receive an email with instructions for completing an online orientation module, which will provide you with specific instructions and details for the completing the online course.

Other College Students:

If you are presently attending another college, you need to be admitted to Calvin College as a guest student through the Admissons Office. You may contact the college anytime for summer admission.

High School Students:

If you are a high school student and wish to become dually enrolled at Calvin, please use this form.

Registration for these, and all summer school courses, began on March 1, 2013.
