Summer info
[PLEASE NOTE: As of March 30 Calvin students may register for summer courses by contacting the Registrar's Office (616-526-6155). A retriction has been placed on all student accounts on the Portal because of the up-coming fall registration which requires advisor sign-offs.]
New this Summer! In addition to the regular on-campus courses, undergraduate online courses are being offered during 2012 summer school.
All summer courses are open to dually enrolled high school students, college students, and guests. See below for admission.
Calvin offers both undergraduate and graduate courses during the summer. Students can generally take up to three regular courses throughout the summer using the calendar below.
Calendar for summer 2012
- For 3 and 4 semester hour courses:
- Session 1 (3 hours) - May 23 through June 13 (3 weeks)
- Session 1 (4 hours) - May 23 through June 20 (4 weeks)
- Session 2 (3 hours) - June 21 through July 12 (4 weeks)
- Session 2 (4 hours) - June 21 through July 19 (4 weeks)
- Session 3 (3 hours) - July 23 through August 10 (3 weeks)
- ONLINE COURSES (ASTR 110, CS 108, HIST 152, LATN 101), start and end dates vary.
Holidays - Classes will not meet on Monday, May 28 (Session 1) for Memorial Day or on Wednesday, July 4 (Session 2) for Independence Day.

Admission and registration
Registration for Summer 2012 begins on March 1, 2012 for both current and guest students.
