The following dates change from year to year and will be updated in January of each year.
- February 1 - faculty project proposals are due.
- Feburary 8 - student summer research applications may be submitted.
- February 18 - student summer research applications are due.
- March 15 (approx.) - student summer positions will be announced.
Calvin professional travel grants
Form: Request for student travel funding
The Science Division Research and Grants Committee has earmarked $2000 annually for funding student travel requests to scientific meetings and conferences where they may present their research. Faculty members should submit requests to the chair by October 1, February 1, or May 1 for timely consideration. Completion of this form is sufficient, however if the faculty member has additional elements for the committee to consider (i.e. unusual timing, justification for funding amounts over $300 per student etc.), please include them in a cover letter. The committee reserves the right to partially fund requests.
