Summer research poster fair

As a science summer research fellow at Calvin, you are required to participate in a special research exposition in the fall after your fellowship is completed. For the research poster fair, held in October, you should:

  • create a poster that illustrates your research work
  • be present at the poster fair to explain your research findings to passersby and guests

Timeline (2012)

Tuesday, September 25: deadline to submit the online form to report poster/title information for the Calvin research poster fair
Monday, October 1, 9:00 a.m.:
Last day to send poster to Instructional Graphics for printing
Thursday, October 18: Posters set up
Friday, October 19: Exposition 12:30 - 3:30 pm
Friday, November 2: Posters taken down

Saturday, November 17: West Michigan Regional Undergraduate Science Conference at Van Andel Institute. Summer researchers are required to present their science division poster at this conference unless they present at an alternate conference before June 2013.
