| Academic Services Learning Support |

The Office of Academic Services (located in HH 446) provides tutoring in most 100 and 200 level courses by trained upperclass students. Tutors meet with students each week to assist them in learning course content and in developing good approaches to learning. (note: each foreign language department provides their own assistance; the Rhetoric Center provides writing assistance.) Students may find study groups helpful in the learning process. A list of study groups available for each semester is available in the Academic Services office. The Office of Academic Services (located in HH 446) provides the coaching program for students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and other students who benefit from help with time management and study skills. Coaches give suggestions and feedback as well as encouragement on how to manage academics with other areas of life. First year students are encouraged to apply for the Coaching Program at the beginning of the Fall Semester because this program can be a great start to your college career.
