Advanced Search Option in WebCat

You can search for material using any combination of codes found in Item Type, Location, Format, Item Cat1 or Item Cat2. Also, it is not necessary to use a word or phrase in the search boxes to perform these searches. Below the illustration are some examples of how to use the Advanced Search screen. Some of the codes are not intuitive. This summer, the Digital Library team will create a help page that describes the significance of each code.
