Webmail Fundamentals

The majority of the basic and advanced skills of webmail can be learned through a tutorial provided by Calvin Information Technology (CIT). If you haven't done so already, print out a copy of the checklist and go through the CIT Email tutorial.

Beyond the help menu and tutorial, you are encouraged to take some time to click on all the menu buttons to determine what each does. The Option button in particular provides you with management tools that allow you to sort your mail, and create an identity and signature.

There are two items not included in the tutorial. You can learn about email aliases and other email services by going to the Secure Services webpage at https://authenticator.calvin.edu. You can change your identity and signature by going into webmail and selection Options > Personal Information.
