Windows XP Checklist
The following checklist includes all the Windows
XP skills you need to understand and be able to perform for IDIS 110 (RIT).
Print a copy of it out to use as a guide and self-study sheet.

- use menus and keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl+S, Windows + M, Ctrl
+ P, Ctrl + X, Ctrl + V, etc.)
- Use the print screen function
- define and identify a dialog box
- File Management
- Access and navigate Windows Explorer
- Identify drive letters
- Move files
- Create folders
- Rename and delete files and folders
- Troubleshooting including knowing
how to:
- Use the task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete)
- Reboot after a crash
- Use the general troubleshooting technique
