Microsoft Windows XP

The goal of this tutorial is to help you become familiar with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. Windows is one of the most commonly used operating systems and is the most common system on campus. We also have computers running Macintosh and Linux operating systems. Print out the Windows XP checklist to use as a study guide. After reviewing the Windows materials, set them aside for a few days, then use the checklist as a self-test and practice exercise to see how much you retain.

This tutorial will cover the following skills and concepts:

  • Getting Around Windows
  • Using the Windows Help Menu
