Getting Around Fireworks

Fireworks is available in the majority of Calvin's computer labs, including computer classrooms and the ITC. It is not available in the dorm labs. You can open Fireworks by going to Start Menu > Programs > Macromedia > Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 . You can also download a 30-day trial of Fireworks from http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/.

When you open a new Fireworks document in Windows, the workspace looks like the diagram below:

You can open the above image in a standalone window by clicking it. If you are new to Fireworks, this may be helpful while working through the tutorials.
