Students taking IDIS 110 use an online text, or Web book, and online tutorials as part of their course curriculum.

• Web book: The Web book, entitled Being Fluent & Faithful in a Digital World, was written and edited by a number of Calvin faculty and staff.
  
• Tutorials - The online tutorials provide some guided directions to students in using the Help menus and tutorials that come pre-packaged with most software. In addition to helping students learn specific skills, these tutorials are designed to teach students how to learn software skills independently.
