Professor Brink teaches Introductory Psychology (151) and Theories of Personality (311). A graduate of Calvin College, Professor Brink received his PhD in social and personality psychology from Purdue University. His research interests include self perception, social identity, and interpersonal attraction. He has been particularly interested in the assessment of self-serving perceptions within the normal college student population. He currently participates with a team of colleagues from Hope College, the University of Michigan, and Florida Atlantic University in the preparation of classroom testing materials to accompany the widely used introductory psychology textbooks authored by David Myers and Nathan DeWall.
