Joel Westra

Joel H. Westra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Calvin College. His teaching and research interests include international organization, international security, international law, international relations theory, American foreign policy, and just war theory. His research focuses primarily on questions pertaining to the use of force and the restraint of force within the international system. He received his B.A. in political science from the University of Houston and his M.A. and Ph.D. from The University of Chicago.
