Additional Internship Opportunities U.S. Attorney's Office The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Michigan is accepting applications for unpaid internships in the Grand Rapids office. Background investigations are required for all interns, and will take approximately six weeks. A minimum internship time of twelve weeks, with 16 hours worked per week is required for all positions. Students must be enrolled at least half time in a recognized educational institution. Internship possibilities exist in the following areas:

"Partners for Justice" Internship Positions "Partners for Justice" is a network of Christian attorneys working together for the advancement of justice and legal development in Nicaragua. The program facilitates the sharing of practical resources, legal expertise, and Christian fellowship among North American and Nicaraguan attorneys. "Partners for Justice" is a program of the Grand Rapids-based organization Partners Worldwide. The organization is seeking one or two students to fill an internship position to provide administrative and logistical support to the main North American Affiliate, Atty. Sharon Brinks. The position is unpaid, but is being created as a valuable networking opportunity for students, especially those pursuing a career in law. Time commitment is flexible and will be adjusted based on the student's schedule. Interested students should contact Joy Lee by November 21, 2009. There will be an informational meeting on campus for students who have responded. Supreme Court of the United States Each summer the Office of the Curator at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington D.C. recruits undergraduate and graduate students for their paid summer internship program. Interns assist the curatorial staff in preserving records and history of the Supreme Court and providing visitors with information on Court history and architecture. In return, interns gain valuable professional experience learning about the daily work and history of the nation's highest court. Applications for summer internships must be postmarked or FAXed before 5:00 p.m. on February 13, 2009.
