The Law School Admissions Test is given at Calvin College four times each year, in February, June, September, and December.

General LSAT Information

You must have an admission ticket to participate in the test, which can be obtained online from the Law School Admission Council.

Your ticket will contain important information about the test you are registered to take, instructions and procedures, as well as the site for the exam. You must present current valid government-issued photo identification bearing your signature (such as a valid drivers license or unexpired passport) when you arrive at the examination site.

Bring three or four sharpened No. 2 pencils with good erasers (mechanical pencils, ink pens and ballpoint pens are prohibited). Additional items which are allowed to be taken into the room are listed at the Law School Admissions Council website, as are prohibited items. There will be a 10 to 15 minute rest break given part way through the test, and you may bring a snack along to eat or drink during this brief time.

Test takers should anticipate that the examination will take about seven hours. Candidates are not allowed access to the testing rooms prior to the examination. Under no circumstances will anyone be admitted after the testing begins.
