Getting into Professional School

Calvin students

Specific course requirements to enter medical or dental school are minimal, but academic excellence is stressed. In addition, excellent performance on MCAT or DAT exams, life experiences, and familiarity with the professions is also important. Calvin will prepare you for success in medical school, dental school and beyond.

What to do & when to do it

Applying to medical or dental school is a dynamic process that involves many complicated steps. Application to the central application services is followed by the completion of secondary applications to specific schools. Interviews and evaluation of letters of recommendation by the medical and dental school admissions committees will usually lead to success for a Calvin student.
