DeVries Hall and Science Building
DeVries Hall was completed in 1999. This 55,000 sq ft science facility is dedicated to biology, biochemistry and chemistry teaching and research. Along with the Science Building we have 19 teaching labs, 10 research labs and over 30 faculty and department offices.
Technology
Over the past 10 years, biology has invested more than $100,000 annually on biology equipment and technology, including:
- A DNA sequencer
- A transmission electron microscope
- Cell 3D imaging system

Medical Research Facility
The West Michigan Regional Laboratory (WMRL) is a state-of-the-art medical research and teaching facility that is located right in the DeVries Hall of Science on Calvin's campus.
