On May 7, 2009 at 3:30 PM in the Meeter Center Lecture Hall the political science department hosted an award ceremony and reception. This gathering celebrates the gifts of intellect, discipline, sociality and service among our students and honors our graduating seniors. The invitation is extended to each recipient, parents of the recipients, friends of the recipients, all students who are political science majors or minors and to the donor or family representative of each scholarship to be awarded.

The department offers their congratulations to two other students unable to make the reception: Paul Hartge, another winner of the Dr. Bernard Zylstra Memorial Scholarship and Kari Sue Holmgren, winner of the Johan & Wilma Westra Scholarship.
