Educational Background
Professor Rogers graduated from Calvin College with honors in political science in 1999. She enrolled in graduate studies at Western Michigan University and earned a master of arts in political science in 2004. She began as an instructor at Calvin College in January 2006.

Recent Activities
As an instructor, professor Rogers teaches American Politics, Introduction to International Relations and European Politics. She also teaches a survey course at Grand Rapids Community College. Having worked at PARA refugee services as a job developer, professor Rogers is interested in immigration and refugee policy. She presented a paper, "The Role of Political, Economic, and Cultural Factors in Immigration Policy in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany," at two conferences in 2004 and 2005.
