Astr111 Photography Projects, Fall 2005 NCG891, Martha Palma NCG891 it is a galaxy that is part of a group called the NGC 1023 group located in the constellation Andromeda. The approximate angular size of this galaxy its 720 arcminutes and a linear size of 35 kly. NCG891 it is a edge-on galaxy that has a shape of a barrial spiral. It is large and with a visual brigthness of 10 mag. The NCG891 its and its mainly composed by gas and dust lane along its equator.
