Helix Nebula

Too bad this isn't my picture. I took a picture of the Sunflower Galaxy, M63. This one is prettier. This is the Helix Nebula which is an example of a planetary nebula. A planetary nebula is material thrown off by a star that has run out of hydrogen fuel to burn. In the Helix photo, we see a ring of glowing, colored light.
