Job searching isn't easy. We'll give some practical advice on attending job fairs, finding companies hiring people with physics degrees, writing resumes and cover letters, looking for internships, and preparing for interviews. We'll give an overview of the resources to help you at Calvin's Career Development Office and the Physics-Astronomy Department. Freshman or senior, it's not too early nor too late to benefit. The primary focus is advice leading to jobs in technology companies right out of college. However, since many graduates change career paths a few years after college, it will also benefit those planning to teach or go to graduate school first.
