New Executive Director

James K.A. Smith is stepping down as Executive Director of the Society of Christian Philosophers after just a couple of years to focus on research. The recipient of a grant from the Blankemeyer Foundation, half of Jamie's time will now be devoted to work with The Colossian Forum, a new organization addressing issues of faith, science, and culture.

But SCP is very fortunate that Christina Van Dyke is willing to step into the role of Executive Director beginning this summer. Christina has been an active member of the Society of Christian Philosophers, involved in a number of different committees and currently serving on the Executive Committee. She has also regularly participated in SCP activities in China. A specialist in medieval philosophy, metaphysics, and philosophy of gender, she will bring a unique set of gifts to this position. We are grateful that Christina is willing to lend them to SCP!
