The Huddleston Exercise Science Scholarship
Some years after her graduation from Calvin as an Exercise Science major, Cheryl Huddleston, along with her parents, Ken and Kay Huddleston of Grand Rapids, Michigan, wanted to express their appreciation for the quality, Christ-centered education that had prepared Cheryl for her graduate studies at the University of Michigan and a career in Cardiac Rehabilitation. In their desire to enhance Calvin’s Exercise Science program, they suggested the establishment of a scholarship fund to assist Exercise Science majors who wished to engage in professional internships in this field of study. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and support opportunities for academically based learning experiences that will enhance the preparation of those Exercise Science majors who intend to pursue graduate studies.
