IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OUTSIDE GROUPS, CHURCHES, AND ALL NON-STUDENTS:  Due to liability issues regarding the Calvin Climbing Center, the facility is only open to faculty, staff, and students with current Calvin ID’s. All people entering the Spoelhof Complex are required to display current Calvin ID.

About the Climbing Center

The climbing wall, equipment, and instruction is FREE to all Calvin students, faculty and staff.

All groups, floors, or events MUST reserve the wall by contacting Calvin Campus Events at events@calvin.edu

All climbers must complete and sign Calvin's Climbing Wavier (26KB, PDF)

  • A beautiful simulated rock freeform surface inspired by Red River Gorge in Kentucky

  •  over 40 routes designed for all abilities from 5.4 – 5.13
