What has been your most memorable experience on Calvin's track team?
Just being on the Track and Field team has been a life changing experience. Coming into college I thought I would play soccer and that was it. When Coach Kim asked me to come out and try throwing, I said yes thinking it just be something new and interesting and I had nothing to loose. I never thought that I would go to Nationals my freshman year, but going and competing there was an amazing experience. Being on the track and field team has opened up many new opportunities for me. The successes I have had in the past two years and the friendships and relationships I have built will be something that I will never forget, it has all been a memorable experience.
Why did you decide to attend Calvin College?
I came to Calvin because it was the only school that I saw myself growing into the person I wanted to become. I liked that it was far from home, but close enough that I could still go home once in a while. I was looking for a college experience that would challenge me spiritually and academically, and thought that Calvin would be the best fit for me.
