| What
has been your most memorable experience on Calvin's track team? |
![]() "There
hasn't been a single experience that stands out from the rest. Attending
Nationals my freshman year as a spectator was incredible and I really
got a taste for the talent in Division III. Watching that meet I realized
that I didn't want to go to Nationals again just to watch. Then my sophomore
year I competed at Nationals and that was a great experience not only
to be able to compete at that level, but to be with our team and many
of the seniors for one last meet. It was incredible to have so many other
team members at the meet supporting those of us who competed. Of course
the spring break trips to Gulf Shores are a lot of fun too." |
| Why
did you decide to attend Calvin College? |
| "There were no other schools
that really interested me and Calvin had what I wanted, a good reputation
in athletics and education, and a Christian perspective. Calvin is close
to my home and it was important for me to stay close to my family" |
