What has been your most memorable experience on Calvin's track team?
"I think it would have to be the two day last chance meet at North Central just before Nationals. We waited through 2 1/2 hours of thunderstorms to run the final distance races, and even after the long wait, our runners all ran well. As the rest of us cheered them around the track, I think I felt more a part of a team than any other time on the field."
Why did you decide to attend Calvin College?
"I knew I wanted to go into architecture, but I wasn't sure about what I specifically wanted to do, so I chose Calvin because it is a Christian college, and because of the many different opportunities it offered. I wanted to run in a great track program, but also be able to do the other things I love."
