| What
has been your most memorable experience on Calvin's track team? |
![]() "I
can't really pick one memorable moment, because there are really too many.
Being stuck in the gym for hours at North Central College because of the
lightning, 7:20 dinners (and using frosting to stick various utensils
to the bottom of the table) bus rides, the whole Spring break trip, and
of course the overall experience of going to Nationals. Okay I did think
of one that stands out. Having Bible studies at dinner after practice
made my track experience more meaningful this year because I got to know
and learn from those girls in such a significant way by sharing our faith
together." |
| Why
did you decide to attend Calvin College? |
| "I
don't feel like I ever really chose Calvin. I knew how good of a school
it was, but I wanted to look at other schools. In the end none of them
really had enough of what I wanted for me to go. I'm very happy God placed
me here. Calvin is a great Christian college, and I had always wanted
to compete as a Division 3 athlete." |
