France - Philosophy

Calvin College is a Christian college. It seeks in its courses and programs to integrate faith commitment and academic study. This integration is especially important as students are exposed to lifestyles and worldviews different from their own. In Grenoble, students will live with French families and study French with other foreign students from around the world. Calvin students will have many opportunities to explore what their faith means to them and how it affects their relationships with persons from other cultures. The Calvin professor in residence will encourage discussion--both academic and informal--to encourage reflection about what it means to live as Christians in God's world.
