Department of Nursing Introduces a New Pin
The symbols are the cross, the lamp, the triangle, and the heart and hand. The cross represents the Christian faith and dedication to Christian nursing. The lamp is symbolic of the profession of nursing. The triangle represents our dependence on God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The heart and hands are Calvin's motto, "My heart I offer to you Lord, promptly and sincerely." The letters BSN represent the Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree which has been earned. May all who wear this pin remain dedicated to the rebuilding of Shalom. |
