Knollcrest Music Camp 2009
The 39th annual Knollcrest Music Camp at Calvin College is now accepting applications for the summer 2009 season. Dates for the camp are: August 3-7 (for students entering grades 9-12) and August 10-14 (for students entering grades 7-8). Large ensembles include concert band, jazz band, orchestra, choir, and musical theater. Students may also take courses in a variety of other areas including dance, conducting, fiddling, handbells, piano, guitar, and world music. Camp runs daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and includes a final performance on Friday night. Tuition for each camp is $150 (before June 30; after June 30 it is $165) and includes a Knollcrest t-shirt. Lunch is available for an additional charge. Due to renovation of the Calvin Fine Arts Center, KMC 2009 will be held at Grand Rapids Christian High School in the DeVos Center for Arts and Worship located at 2300 Plymouth SE, Grand Rapids.
