Because of the renovation of Calvin College's Fine Arts Center (beginning in the spring of 2009), Knollcrest Music Camp will meet at Grand Rapids Christian High School for KMC 2009.

Schedule
Time:
9:00 – 3:00 daily and a Friday night concert. Please report at 8:30 a.m. on the first day.
Daily Schedule:
Each camp day consists of six 45-minute class periods, lunch, and a noon assembly. Students must choose one ensemble which meets for three class periods a day. All other classes meet for one class period. Students may register for 2 ensembles or 1 ensemble and 3 classes. If they choose to be in 1 ensemble they must indicate their preference of 7 classes, of which they will be registered for 3.

Classes Offered:
Advanced Piano Class, Bass Guitar Class, Careers in Music (Junior Camp only), Chamber Music (woodwinds and strings only), Composition (Senior Camp only), Conducting, Dance Class, Fiddle Class, Flute Choir, Fundamentals of Music Theory, Guitar Class, Handbells, Introduction to the Piano, Introduction to Music Therapy (Senior Camp only), Jazz Improvisation (Senior Camp only), Voice Class, and The World of Music. Attendance Policy:
Music Campers are expected to attend class full time – from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. All campers are expected to perform in our Friday evening concert.
Cost
Fee:
$150 if received before June 30. A late fee of $15 will be added if received after June 30. Includes a KMC t-shirt. Lunch is available for an additional fee. Refund deadline is June 30.
Lunch:
Due to this year's change of location, students must bring their own lunch or purchase boxed lunches for the week for a fee of $30. Boxed lunches will include a sandwich, water, a fruit or vegetable, chips, and a treat.
