The Capella is the advanced mixed chorus from Calvin College, a liberal arts college located in Grand Rapids, MI, USA. Its repertoire consists of outstanding motets, spirituals, folksongs, and art music. The ensemble's Asia tour includes performances in Hong Kong, China, Philippines and Singapore.
Orchestra | 2012 Florida Tour

The Calvin College Orchestra’s mission is to worship God through the offering up of our music to Him in faith; We serve one another within the ensemble as a community of faith; We point people who listen to our music to Christ in faith; Thus we study and play music from many times and places rejoicing with God in His good creation.
Women's Chorale | 2012 Indiana + Wisconsin Tour
March 30 – April 1, 2012
The Calvin College Women's Chorale is an honor choir, open by audition to female students from every class and discipline. The Woman's Chorale has performed at festivals throughout Michigan, sings at the annual Calvin Music Festival and Festival of Lessons and Carols, and presents a full concert each spring.
The Women’s Chorale is directed by Dr. Pearl Shangkuan.
Gospel Choir | 2012 Chicago Tour

The Calvin College Gospel Choir's mission is to proclaim the word of God in song, as members fellowship with one another. While fulfilling this mission, the choir will represent Calvin College and its varied worship styles in a diverse, Christian manner. The Calvin College Gospel Choir will also provide a forum in which gospel musicians are able to transcend cultural differences, uniting all believers for a common purpose.
The Gospel Choir is directed by Dr. Charsie Sawyer.
Wind Ensemble | 2012 Hungary, Ukraine + Romania Tour
May 21 - June 4, 2012
Formally the Calvin Band, the Calvin College Wind Ensemble is the concert band of Calvin College. The Wind Ensemble performs regularly throughout the academic year with major concerts each semester and an annual Christmas Pops Concert in December. Appearances at the Calvin Music Festival and in local churches fill out the band's performance schedule. The Wind Ensemble also tours annually within North America and has frequently traveled to Eastern Europe.
The Wind Ensemble is directed by Dr. Tiffany Engle.
