The Artist Series presented Leon Fleisher and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher, piano, in concert on Thursday, May 1, 2008.
Calvin hosted a recital given by the Gilmore Young Artist 2008, Naomi Kudo, on April 29, 2008.
Student Aririn Efferin gave a student recital during the spring semester 2008. Airin was also the winner of the 2008 Concerto Competition - she performed the second and third movements of the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra Op. 102 by Dmitri Shostakovich accompanied by the Calvin Orchestra.
Dr. Hyesook Kim (professor of piano) and Ensemble Montage presented a chamber music recital in February, 2008.
