Clergy in Error

[A list of bad qualities than an investigating Bishop should look for in a priest]
17. if he is ill-famed with any woman, or if he has brought any strange women into his house.
18. ... if he hands communion over to a layman or a woman to bring it to the sick -- which is infamous.
19. If he exacts any fee for baptizing children or reconciling the sick or burying the dead.
20. This above all must be discovered: whether through the priest's negligence any child in the parish has died without baptism.
21. If he celebrates mass from house to house outside the church.
22. If he is given to drink or litigation.
23. If he bears arms in uprisings.
24. If he is given to games with dogs or birds.
25. If he drinks in taverns.
30. If he presumes -- which God forbid! -- to celebrate mass after having eaten or drunk.
44. If he was ordained through bribery, or bought the church in which he celebrates mass.
46. If he holds several churches without the help of other priests.
47. If he celebrates mass in another parish against the will or without the invitation of his fellow priest.
48. If he collects tithes belonging to another.
49. If he invites penitents to eat meat and drink wine, unless he does it as an act of charity.
60. Make sure that no cleric gets married.
