Minor in international development
Program Requirements
The minor program requires six courses as well as a semester or interim in a developing country. The three elective courses must be approved by an IDS advisor.
- IDS 201: Introduction to International Development or SPHO 205: Poverty and Development
- SOC 253: Intercultural Communication
- IDS 351: Theories of International Development, IDS 355 or STHO 212: Community Development
- Three electives from the list below.
- Interim or Semester in a developing country (some courses may qualify for required and/or elective courses)
