"What? You put on full-length plays? In German?"

When people hear that the German faculty and students at Calvin College have put on a dozen substantial plays in the German language since 1972, they often respond with a bit of amazement and a good deal of curiosity. But this activity, as all of the curricular and extra-curricular activities in the German department at Calvin, is student driven. If you and enough other students in a given year demonstrate interest, the department will attempt to gratify your wish to be involved in the next German-language play production!
